All intellectual property rights in the Book Series, including the title of the Book Series and all associated goodwill, are, and shall remain, the sole and exclusive property of the Series Partner (The Series Partner is American Astronautical Society).

The copyrights in the Volumes shall be vested in the name of each author, editor or original copyright holder (e.g. authors’ institution). The Publisher may in certain cases be required to change the copyright holder designation, e.g., if mandated by funding bodies or government agencies. The Publisher will insert a copyright notice into all editions of the Volumes according to the provisions of the Universal Copyright Convention (UCC).
